PRODUCT MANAGER (UX)
Maxio was born in April 2021 when Battery Ventures invested +$150M to bring together two companies that were each amazing in their own right: SaaSOptics, which streamlined financial operations and analytics for SaaS businesses, and Chargify, the leader in billing and subscription management for B2B SaaS.Both Chargify and SaaSOptics did amazing work creating must-have tools for CFOs and product leaders. With smart operations and world-class investors behind us, Maxio is in a position to change the way that subscription businesses operate—and help transform new businesses to operate more efficiently, scale faster, and reach more customers.We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager (UX) to lead the design and development of user-centric features across the Maxio platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience design, product management, and a passion for intuitive and informative user interfaces which help Maxio customers succeed.WHAT:
- Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive UX strategy that aligns with the company's brand, objectives, and our user’s needs.
- Ability to understand and articulate what Maxio users are trying to solve for in various UI contexts and, working with our designers and engineers, creating a world-class user experience
- Ability to document features and enhancements with user stories and detailed acceptance criteria to enable efficient development and testing
- Ability to work with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to articulate the benefits and reasons of the product to the broader market audience
- Comfortable speaking with customers about Maxio, our products, and how we can enhance them for our users.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Passion for using analytics and user feedback to inform design decisions and continuously improve the user experience.
- Ability to travel to USA / Poland quarterly to meet with product / development / leadership teams
WHO:
- 5+ years of experience in UX design and product management, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Experience with transforming user experience for a SaaS platform with complex functionality integrated across multiple product modules
- Experience partnering with UI/UX designers and engineering teams
- Proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with user research methodologies and data analysis.
- Europe only - Ability to work later in the evening to overlap with our USA-based teams
- USA only - Ability to work early morning to overlap with our Europe-based development teams
