We seek a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our Human Resources team, reporting to the US Head of HR. The ideal candidate will be crucial in championing employee experience and culture, managing communication and support, overseeing onboarding and offboarding processes, and developing performance and development programs. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with global teams and align HR goals with business initiatives.
HR Manager
Employee Experience & Culture:
- Champion initiatives that foster a positive employee experience.
- Oversee and participate in the Global Culture Club to drive employee engagement initiatives.
- Prepare and manage internal HR communications, including company newsletters, emails, and announcements.
- Provide comprehensive support to remote employees. Manage transfers/remote requests and integrate them into the company culture and processes.
Freelancer Process and Employee Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Manage the onboarding and new hire process, including background checks, I9 verifications, and orientation programs.
- Handle administrative offboarding procedures for exiting employees.
- Manage the freelance process through Worksome/Payroll and handle 1099 documentation.
Performance & Development:
- Collaborate with US and UK teams to develop performance review cycles, talent management, and training programs.
- Develop and implement a career development framework, including succession planning, training needs assessment, global internship and mentoring programs.
- Develop and implement career development programs, workforce planning, succession planning, performance management metrics, and employee retention strategies.
- Collaborate with US and UK teams on Employee Engagement and DEI initiatives.
Compensation Strategy & Benefits:
- Develop job evaluation and compensation strategies based on market research and pay surveys.
- Assist with 401k plan and HR Audits
Preferred Experience:
- Merger and acquisition experience.
- Experience working with global HR teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR executive role, focusing on employee experience, performance management, and strategic HR management.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills (including PowerPoint) Excellent time management and deadline oriented.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR management software, including ADP Workforce Now, Netsuite, and HiBob
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRMCP, PHR) is a plus.
