Essential Job Functions:
- Knowledge and experience in software development and test under agile methodology.
- Develop new features and modifies the structure of existing software products.
- Experience troubleshooting application problems.
- Provide field support.
- Will work with some guidance from a subject matter expert.
- May be required to support software installation.
- Attend and may lead meetings, design reviews, working groups and briefings.
- Report issues and problems and recommends solutions.
- Deployment (CD) processes including automation builds and testing software projects.
- Perform other related duties in line with tasks assignments.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Required:
- Able to identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Able to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to challenges.
- Python Programming
- Experience with Jenkins implementing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes including automation builds and testing software projects.
- Web application development using .NET.
- Database developer background (Oracle/SQL)
- JavaScript programming
- Excellent writing and verbal skills
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Able to work in a team environment and be willing to work together in support of team goals.
- Able to adapt to an agile environment.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or a Bachelor's degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and 7 years related work experience OR
- Master's degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and 5 years related work experience.
Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education, and references is also required.
