Data-Core Systems Inc. is seeking SAP BRIM Technical Consultant to be a part of our Consulting team. You will participate and effectively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. You will provide technical expertise and systems design for individual initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work with other SME consultants from our existing team.
Our client is implementing the SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) based on SAP S/4HANA as a part of a new solution. Our client is engaging a System Integrator (SI) to perform the implementation; however, our client has limited experience in the BRIM functionality and technical details. This position is to understand our client’s needs and desires and work with the SI to implement a fully functional and reliable BRIM application as part of the solution. This position is responsible for the functional and business process portion of the BRIM implementation and its posting to the SAP S/4 HANA Finance module and validating all the functional aspects of the integrations with BRIM for the new solution.Description of DutiesThe selected Candidate will perform the following duties:
- Study and understand the client’s current Billing and Revenue structure, configurations, and technologies
- Using knowledge gained to coordinate changes and designs to the UBOS and the client’s other technologies to ensure the client’s needs are met and follow the standards and policies
- Act as a subject matter expert representing the client in meetings and reports to the team
- Act as a subject matter expert to raise concerns and possible issues to the client leadership with enough details for the client leadership to decide on how to proceed
- Develop and maintain plans and other documentation, as required, using client’s-established standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients
- Work with the business departments’ staff and determine priorities and schedules for the work to be performed
- Utilizes various software and/or technology tools to perform job duties
- Follows the tasks and other duties as assigned by the client.
Desired SkillsetThe ideal candidate will have:
- Good working knowledge of FICA
- Experience with processing lockbox, and bank statements in BAI2 format in SAP S/4 HANA
- Experience with funds management
- Experience working in a tolling back-office system
- Should be highly proficient in ABAP (classic and object-oriented), CDS, BOPF, AMDP, Odata, and BODS
- Experience utilizing SAP HANA and associated design techniques and development tools, including WebIDE or BAS, HANA Studio, and BTP
- Experience integration with Microsoft Dynamics CE system or another CRM
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office 365 suite of business software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus proficient in Microsoft Projects.
Additional beneficial skills include:
- ServiceNow Experience in PPM and ITSM modules
- ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies
Minimum Experience
- 7 years of BRIM and SAP S/4 HANA ABAP experience
- Experience as a hands-on developer or technical SME on 2 system implementation projects
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted
- Ability to work independently to accomplish the tasks and duties assigned
Certifications / Education
- SAP BRIM technical certifications
- SAP ABAP technical certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or information systems. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted
