A3 Technology, Inc. is on the lookout for a talented Network System Administrator to join our dynamic hardware database team in Egg Harbor Township, NJ! Take charge of maintaining and enhancing our networking equipment in a diverse Linux and Windows environment within the cutting-edge Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS). Essential Job Functions:

  • Occasionally offer support to other team members in resolving complex issues within the system and/or providing expert guidance on networking best practices, as well as document and test solutions.
  • Occasionally interface with outside vendors (FTI) to resolve issues outside the scope of RMLS.
  • Configure network hardware (servers, routers and switches).
  • Manage firewall, load balancers.
  • Upgrade and repair computer networks.
  • Troubleshoot network issues.
  • Assist network architects with the design of network models.
  • Deploy and update software.
  • Manage servers and their operating systems.
  • Implement security measures.
  • Develop test processes and procedures.
  • Perform testing.
  • Manage cloud and physical network storage.
  • Create and update network related documentation.
  • Attend and may lead meetings, design reviews, working groups and briefings.
  • Report issues and problems and recommends solutions.
  • Perform other related duties in line with tasks assignments.
  • RMLS Field Support 24x7 as needed.
  • Some lifting may be involved.
  • After hours install and support as needed.
  • May require travel.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Required:

  • Excellent writing and verbal skills.
  • Excellent customer relations skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be willing to work together in support of team goals.
  • Ability to adapt to an agile environment.

Preferred:

  • Network infrastructure knowledge.
  • Implement, administer and troubleshoot network devices.
  • Application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
  • Digital security.
  • Checkpoint firewalls.
  • F5 load balancers/proxy servers.
  • Linux Knowledge.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or a Bachelor's degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics and computer science and 20 years related work experience OR
  • Master's degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics and computer science and 16 years related work experience.

Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education, and references is also required.
