As the Data And Reporting Architect, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
- Meeting with end users to determine the right reports to answer their questions
- Extracting data from multiple sources via Fivetran and other tools
- Loading data into our Snowflake warehouse
- Transforming data via DBT into reportable models
- Building reports and data models in Looker
- Ad-hoc SQL queries in Snowflake to investigate data quality
- Tests and specifications to verify data quality
- Being a local expert on our available data and its meaning
Our ideal candidate has experience with the Modern Data Stack:
- Solid understanding of SQL and spreadsheets is required
- Strong analytical and communication skills are required
- Previous experience with DBT and LookML is preferred but not required
- Experience working directly with executive leadership is preferred
- Previous experience with Git is preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of sales and financial reporting is preferred but not required
This role has considerable autonomy and discretion; you will be responsible for balancing technical decisions, business priorities, and the technical needs of our systems. All systems are cloud based. We offer:
