We are seeking a Data Engineer Intern who is interested in gaining experience within a leading Managed Services Provider. Dataprise’s Internship Program offers candidates with a meaningful internship experience from which they can make informed future career decisions. What You’ll Do:
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources; filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct data source problems.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Assist in evaluating additional AI/ML solutions that would be good fit for internal use cases
What Skills & Experience You’ll Need:
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Knowledge of SQL and Python
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets with Excel required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
- Available for the entire Summer of 2024 to work as a Data Engineer Intern for Dataprise.
- Currently enrolled full-time in community college or university or recent college graduate in a STEM or related field; enrolled in Data Science Program.
