We are there for companies when they need us most.For additional information about us, please visit https://www.agilityrecovery.com/Reporting directly to the Director of Logistics & Asset Management, the Logistics Manager (Duluth) is an individual with a strong bias towards proactive planning and organization with a warehousing & logistics track record.

Based out of Agility’s Duluth, GA location, the functional areas of oversight include quality assurance of all incoming and outgoing shipments, equipment storage/warehousing, assistance in inventory tracking, transportation/logistics, and 3rd party equipment & services coordination. A high level of project planning, analytical thinking, and cross-functional coordination to drive plans through completion is required.When supporting an Agility members test or declare, the Logistics Manager is responsible for coordinating, overseeing and completing setup, configuration, and deployment of all equipment.

This includes Space, Power, Technology and Connectivity for off-site mobile events to include but not limited to disaster recovery tests, sites and disaster declarations in support of Agility’s members. Additional responsibilities involve office/administrative coordination as well as on the ground/site management and execution.In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the pool of resources including mobile vendors, fuel vendors, transportation/logistics companies, generator providers and ensure that all required resources are strategically and optimally engaged for member testing and disaster declarations.
  • Contributes to the support of the Agility ReadyPower (generator) program, specifically with respect to electricians, working to source and recommend electrical contractors when needed by Agility customers.
  • Provides support to Agility members in the setup, execution and teardown of a mobile recovery field testing and or disaster declaration event.
  • Assists the various business development teams, pre-sales, sales support, member services and external business partners in order to generate and/or technically verify mobile recovery solutions that will be proposed to members.
  • Supports Agility Members throughout North America and Canada during a disaster declaration.
  • Alongside the Operations Manager, assist in warehouse, inventory maintenance, and asset readiness in the Duluth facility
  • Organize and maintain warehouse appearance and functionality
  • Regular evaluation of current operating processes with leadership to identify optimization opportunities
  • Participated in a rotating on-call support (24x7x365) for all members who may be experiencing technical difficulties during tests or disasters.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs without strain.
  • Capacity to manage a travel schedule during the execution of disaster recovery operations. Travel 10-15% based on business need
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related operational or logistics experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
  • APICS and ISM Supply Chain Certifications preferred
  • Strong communication experience and problem-solving skills with demonstrated success in effectively driving results
  • Travel 10-15% based on business need
