POSITION SUMMARY:
Air Force One is looking for an experienced HVAC Critical Systems Technician with 5+ years of experience. The HVAC Critical Systems Technician performs maintenance and service repairs on refrigeration and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. MUST be familiar with the product line of Liebert / Vertiv and familiar with working in data centers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years working with Liebert/Vertiv systems REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Apprenticeship and/or formal training in HVAC preferred
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience
- Universal EPA Certification required
- OSHA certification
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Clean background check
REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pass all AFO pre-employment qualifications.
- Ability to navigate and use smart phone to support business systems.
- Safely use all required tools and equipment per manufacturer’s instructions and OSHA requirements.
- Working knowledge of temperature/pressure chart.
- Read thermometers and gauges, records readings.
- Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital signals.
- Ability to use and set up a combustion analyzer.
- Possess basic leadership skills to use in training and mentoring other technicians

- Split Systems 1 thru 5 Ton 1 PH

- Systems with scroll and sealed hermetic compressors
- Single phase & three phase motors
- Heating systems with atmospheric burners and induced draft motors
- All residential type furnaces
- Medium temperature refrigeration systems
- Cooling towers
- Direct and indirect fired makeup air units
- Built -up Air Handlers
- Variable frequency drives
- Ductless split systems
- Low temperature refrigeration systems
- Boiler systems-low pressure hydronic and steam
- Boiler systems with power burners
- Air cooled chiller
- Rotary-Screw compressors
- Pneumatics air compressors and systems
- Centrifugal chillers-PM Only
- Variable refrigerant systems
- High pressure steam boilers
- Computer room air conditioning units
- Evaporative cooling systems
- Test Chambers
- Low NOx Burners
