Join a team that’s not afraid to do things differently.Baesman Group, a nationally recognized marketing services provider of direct-to-consumer and in-store marketing strategy and execution, is seeking a Kitting & Assembly Lead for our 2nd shift operations to assists the K&A Manger in ensuring that equipment is set up properly, production schedules are maintained, and production goals are achieved.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Train others within the department to run the equipment safely, achieve required product quality and at targeted production goals.
- Operate equipment as required meeting our safety, quality, and production standards.
· Work safely to prevent accidents by keeping the area clean and free of any trip hazards. Also monitor others to ensure that they are practicing safe work habits.· Develop new or improved methods for increased production.· Provides any special instruction for upcoming jobs as required.· Reports jobs completed and status of in-progress work to Supervisor or Department Manager.· Keep up to date with current processes and make suggestions on tools or resources that will increase efficiency.· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Requirements:
· Ability to read and understand a job ticket and adhere to safety rules, as well as operating and maintenance instructions of various equipment.
- Familiarity with basic mathematics (decimals, metric units) to understand dimensional requirements contained in the job ticket, and to make more complicated adjustments.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment and be held accountable for the quality of work produced.
Ability to bend, kneel, reach, stand and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
