Waltonen Engineering is seeking an Entry CAD Detailer to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Report to Waltonen Design Leader
- Utilize Creo to complete part drawings including the creation of detailed drawings
- Establish design for new products and improvements to parts
- Complete design calculations within predefined design standards
- Make drawing revisions to reflect how tools have been modified
- Collaborate with designers and engineers on project requirements
Qualifications
- Exposure to a 3D CAD software
- Intermediate mechanical drafting skills
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with superiors, peers, and subordinates
- Individual time management skills
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Ability to work a full-time schedule including overtime hours as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Vehicle Design, Product Development or related degree
- Experience with Creo software
- Familiarity with Teamcenter is a plus
- Understanding of materials and their usage and various manufacturing operations and processes
- Comprehensive math background
