Well… you might just be in the right place!Lightspeed’s growing golf division is seeking a full-time Field Account Executive-Golf for New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue to the business as a result of software demonstrations and thorough lead generation and nurturing. You will be creative in helping us dive deeper into the golf vertical, bringing our team to the next level and allowing golf courses to reach new heights with Lightspeed powered tools.

What you’ll be responsible for:


  • Source leads and create interest in the Lightspeed Golf suite of products 
  • Demo Lightspeed’s golf product to qualified leads 
  • Visit golf courses and meet with golf course operators
  • Nurture and manage your sales pipeline
  • Work with management on pricing negotiations
  • Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
  • Help refine internal processes
  • Attend trade shows and conferences, when required
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities defined by management

What you’ll be bringing to the team:


  • Understanding of the golf industry and a passion for golf
  • Experience in golf management
  • Willingness and ability to travel and meet golf courses in-person
  • Comfortable with online and in-person sales
  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate resourcefulness
  • Team-first mentality
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Even better if you have, but not necessary:


  • Intermediate level of sales experience, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Technology literacy
  • Experience using sales CRM 
  • Understanding of retail, e-commerce, restaurant and accounting principles

At Lightspeed, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your skillset, qualifications, experience, and market data. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We reasonably expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of 60 000.00 - 70 000.00. Additionally, this role may be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. Lightspeed also provides a variety of employee benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, wellness, life and disability insurance, 401K plan and match, paid parental leave top-up, and paid time off. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within the United States, and refers to the amount Lightspeed is willing to pay at the time of this posting, which may vary depending on the candidate’s actual location.
