About the Role
As a key member of the InvoiceCloud FP&A team, the Senior Financial Analyst will support InvoiceCloud forecasting and reporting by owning processes that span the entire organization. Additionally, this role will be responsible for forecasting cash and the balance sheet, and assisting with the administration of our planning system. The Analyst will work closely with the other members of the FP&A team to provide support and work with our Accounting team during month end close. An ideal candidate has a strong understanding of FP&A principles along with the problem-solving and project management skills to lead ad hoc projects.
Strong attention to detail and a curious spirit are critical. A candidate with a high sense of urgency, who thrives in a face-paced and demanding environment, will be most successful in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the forecast and reporting processes for areas that span the entire organization, including some centralized personnel costs, balance sheet and cash flow statements, to drive meaningful reviews with leadership and support decision making
- Serve as the Adaptive Planning system administrator and help lead projects to optimize system to maximize team and company benefit
- Operate with an understanding of core FP&A planning principles, processes, and deliverables such as budgeting/forecasting, reporting, close responsibilities
- Key contributor to the reporting and presentation of financial plans, owning the update process and partnering with the team to ensure material are complete for senior management and Board of Directors
- Work within a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on helping the FP&A team be successful. Automate, refine, and implement processes and tools to create a more efficient and effective team
- Lead/support other company and CFO organization initiatives and projects as needed
First 90 Days
- Gain an in-depth understanding of our reporting and forecasting processes. Own the monthly, recurring responsibilities related to the role
- Become self-sufficient in the day-to-day usage and administration of Adaptive Planning
- Build relationships with the internal team and our key business partners
Ongoing
- Assist with managing the monthly FP&A process and ensure reporting deliverables are met
- Identify and action on opportunities for improvement in reporting and forecasting processes that will benefit the entire team
- Serve as a trusted business partner capable of performing ad-hoc analysis to create insight for the management team. Flex your knowledge and apply your skills to help others on the FP&A team and fill in as needed to ensure the entire team succeeds.
What We Seek
- 3-5 years of progressive Finance experience
- 2+ years of FP&A experience with emphasis in corporate areas
- FinTech or SaaS experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Excellent interpersonal skills including proven ability to work comfortably with senior management
- Strong ability to effectively handle multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines that are consistently met
- Self-motivated, ambitious problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience with Adaptive Planning is a plus
Base Compensation Range: ($100,000.00 to $115,000.00) annuallyBase salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition.
