Job Description:
Chartis Federal is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Capture Manager to join our team in the Northern Virginia Area. As a Business Development Capture Manager, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expanding our client base within the federal government sector.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the federal government sector, focusing on agencies and departments all around the country.
- Actively seeking out new business opportunities within the federal government sector, keeping a keen eye on emerging trends, policy changes, and upcoming projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government decision-makers and industry partners
- Lead the development and execution of strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with internal team/leadership to develop compelling proposals and presentations that address client needs and differentiate Chartis Federal from competitors.
- Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and competitive intelligence to inform business development strategies and tactics.
- Represent Chartis Federal at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our capabilities and identify potential business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development within the federal government contracting space.
- Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, contracting vehicles, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market dynamics and develop effective business development strategies.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and business objectives.
- Active network of contacts within the federal government sector preferred.
- Security Clearance is preferred but not required.
