Vector Solutions is seeking a Sales Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the fast-paced world of software sales within the education technology industry.
Working closely with our dynamic sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement.
- Assist in developing and executing targeted sales campaigns to reach key decision-makers in educational institutions.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.
- Support the sales team in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to existing clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Shadow experienced sales professionals during client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to observe and learn best practices.
Requirements
- Must be a sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for sales and technology.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Available to commit to a minimum of 20 hours internship duration.
