Position Summary
Delva Tool & Machine (DTM), a CMT company, is seeking a CMM Programmer for our
Cinnaminson, NJ l
ocation. The CMM Programmer will develop, maintain, and generate coordinate measuring machine (CMM) programs which will be utilized to inspect and verify production materials and components. *This position works a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm. The pay range for this position is between $80,000 - $95,000/year depending on experience*
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform programming of CMM Machine.
- Maintaining accurate programs on the server.
- Operate CMM Machine and maintain CMM instructions for the setup and inspection of parts.
- Provide insight on programming changes and product calibration for process improvement.
- Analyze and interpret blueprints, models, evaluation sheets, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection, testing procedures, adjustment, and certification methods.
- Collect and Analyze inspection data and make computations as necessary to determine inspection results and perform first article inspections.
- Communicate inspection results, part status, updates, and specific instructions clearly and effectively to team members and participate in Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities.
- Develop production process quality documentation and requirements to achieve customer reliability objectives using the High QA software.
- Ensure a safe work environment is maintained by utilizing appropriate safety processes and systems.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- Two-year associate degree is preferred.
- 3+ years' experience in CNC Manufacturing Quality Control is required.
- 2+ years' experience with Zeiss Calypso software is required.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 and quality standards.
- Ability to conduct tests to ensure products and materials meet the established quality specification.
- Adept at planning and developing standards, procedures, and best practices for ensuring product quality.
