Full-timeDescriptionThe Director of Vegas Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operational activities related to Las Vegas clubs and residencies, regional one offs and dry rentals produced in the Las Vegas office. The Director of Las Vegas Operations is responsible for upholding the profitability and values of the organization by leading day-to-day projects and business operations aligned with the business plan and strategic vision established by the IMAGESFX Board. The Director of Las Vegas Operations works in conjunction with the Director of Touring Operations to ensure continuity and efficiency across processes, procedures, policies, and culture to meet the current and future needs of the organization.

Role Description


Director of OperationsFull Time (On-site), SalaryM-F, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PMEmail and Phone Call Responsiveness on Evenings/Weekends Required 

Primary Responsibilities


Las Vegas Business Operations

  • Responsible for the performance of the IMAGESFX Business and Project Management Teams located in or remotely reporting to the Las Vegas office well as their interactions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Works with Human Resources and other relevant parties to enforce company policies and manage HR functions within the employee life cycle including but not limited to hiring, performance management, and separation
  • Works with Compliance Manager and Human Resources to ensure compliance with national and state laws, regulations, and best practices related to safe work performance, labor relations, facilities, and DOT
  • Facilitates facility cleanliness and upkeep through oversight and direction of employees and contractors
  • Oversees business and project-related budgeting and spending to ensure profitability
  • Prepares project and business profitability reports and forecasting when requested

Project OperationsSales:

  • Actively seeks and builds relationships with potential new clients
  • Manages current client relationships and grows scope of work

Project Management:

  •  Budget creation and iteration management
  •  Contract creation and iteration management 
  • Client invoice creation and iteration management
  • Spending oversight and management
  • Diagram/plot iteration management 
  • Asset deployment investment, planning, and coordination
  • Consumable planning and coordination
  • Design and fabrication oversight when required
  • Project-related staffing 
  • Compliance/Permitting/Insurance direction and oversight
  •  Project-related travel planning

Secondary Responsibilities


  • Recommend Professional Development topics/trainings based on ongoing project skillset needs 
  • Recommend gear investment based on ongoing client requests and developing design concepts in the industry 
  • Assist the Administrative Team in developing company resources, policies, procedures, and standardized paperwork 
  • Follow company procedures and directives 
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned 

Requirements

  • Experience in business operations/management is highly preferred
  • Minimum of five years cumulative working experience in the live events industry or related industry required
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a supervisory role successfully leading team members and/or direct reports required
  • Minimum of three years of experience in project management or a similar role in the live entertainment industry budget estimating and resource planning preferred
  • A degree or certification in business and/or project management is not required but preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel
  • Experience working with online cloud storage platforms, project management software, asset management software, POS software, etc.
