ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
We’re looking for a world class Strategic Finance leader to join OpenStore’s Finance team. You will lead a growing Strategic Finance team and will serve as the domain-area expert and cross-functional partner to drive operating, financial, and accounting best practices across the organization. Your goal will be to lead a variety of projects aimed at driving strategic and operational improvements and efficiencies across the organization in conjunction with various stakeholders.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
You’ll lead and grow our Strategic Finance team: Manage and mentor the existing two person team and with opportunity for future headcount growth to drive incremental change across the organization.
You’ll define our financial roadmap: Develop our long-term financial strategy through financial modeling, forecasting, and planning of our growth, operations, hiring and strategic projects.
You’ll take ownership: Oversee portfolio- and corporate-level forecasting, modeling and capital requirements, while evaluating growth opportunities for the company.
You’ll inform planning: Drive annual and quarterly financial planning processes to align with current roadmaps.
You’ll help us run a tight ship: Lead budget planning with executive teams and guidance to various functional teams to ensure we are allocating our resources thoughtfully and monitor adherence to and execution of these plans.
You’ll contribute to many areas: Collaborate cross-functionally throughout the company including with our Revenue, Growth, Engineering, Analytics and Corporate teams to synthesize many data points into digestible plans.
You’ll be a good people leader: Mentor and develop a high-powered team to ensure continued professional development and learning of team members and colleagues.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
5-10 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital and/or corporate finance.
Prior operational experience at a high growth venture-backed enterprise.
A systems-oriented mindset. Our business model requires scalable models and processes to enable growth.
Extensive experience with SQL and other business intelligence and data visualization tools.
Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate relationships across many differing functions.
