Full-timeDescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and innovative Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about employee growth and development, with a keen understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify learning needs, designing and delivering effective training programs, and evaluating their impact on employee performance and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Training Needs Analysis:
- Conduct thorough assessments of organizational learning needs through surveys, interviews, and data analysis.- Collaborate with department heads and HR partners to identify skill gaps and training priorities.
Instructional Design:
- Design engaging and effective learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training sessions, and multimedia content.- Utilize instructional design principles and learning technologies to create interactive and learner-centered experiences.
Training Delivery:
- Facilitate training sessions for employees at all levels, both in-person and virtually.- Provide coaching and support to trainers and subject matter experts involved in delivering training programs.
Learning Program Management:
- Coordinate logistics for training events, including scheduling, venue selection, and resource allocation.- Monitor and track training participation, feedback, and outcomes to ensure program effectiveness.
Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:
- Conduct post-training evaluations to assess the impact of learning interventions on employee performance and business results.- Use feedback and data insights to refine and improve training programs over time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).- Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery.- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), with preferred experience in Paylocity.- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and multimedia software.- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.- Demonstrated project management skills and attention to detail.- Certification in instructional design or training facilitation (e.g., CPLP, ATD, CPTM) is a plus.
