Job Overview


We are looking for an Xceptional Commercial Account Executive to join our growing team and contribute to our mission to make homeownership more accessible and affordable for all. An Xceptional Commercial Account Executive will thrive in our fast-paced, start-up-like environment, leveraging their expertise and past successes to source and close new logos! The Commercial Account Executive will be responsible for engaging with existing (and future) leads to better understand current product usage, barriers to usage and communicating a compelling vision for how the CreditXpert platform can be used to help lenders grow their business.

Through outreach, you will build your own pipeline and take lead through the sales process to close your own deals.    The ideal candidate is a curious and motivated self-starter with a hunter mentality – you ask great questions, take initiative, and quickly build trust with potential customers.  

Essential Functions:


As the Commercial Account Executive, you will

  • Close Deals!
  • Qualifying in-bound Commercial lender leads to convert them to deals. 
  • Refine and enhance Commercial outbound market messaging and executing on outreach programs.
  • Actively engage in the CreditXpert Commercial sales process to build relationships with new customers – top lenders, independent mortgage banks, etc.     
  • Quickly identify and engage decision makers through strategic and proactive client engagement.  
  • Develop and manage strategies to achieve the annual sales goals through sales of net new business.
  • Set new business goals and strategies yearly and set team and individual goals in coordination with sales, marketing, product, and company objectives and key results.  
  • Strategically utilize HubSpot (our CRM) to drive productivity, report on and forecast deal pipelines, and analyze conversion rates.
  • Set strategy related to customer territory in coordination with the Director of Sales and VP of Sales.
  • Set, measure, track and monitor sales goals, KPIs, and lender Territory. 
  • Report trends, opportunities, and roadblocks to Director of Sales Operations and VP of Sales.

Required Education and Experience[JH1]   

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of B2B consultative sales experience 
  • Experience selling SaaS products
  • Experience selling into the Enterprise space; Fortune 1000, Healthcare, Technology, Insurance, Financial Services, etc
  • Mortgage Industry experience, a huge plus
  • Achieving/overachieving an individual sales quota or equivalent experience 
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team while balancing individual goals against corporate strategy
  • The ability to sell direct, managing an end-to-end sales process
  • Business Acumen – a fundamental understanding of business
