Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Digital Architect tojoin our growing team and lead the design and implementation strategies of the activation journey for a streaming video product. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital architecture and a proven track record of architecting and implementing scalable, high-performance systems. If you enjoy making an impact on a fast moving, dynamic team, this position could be a great fit for you!This is a full-time, Philadelphia-based position, with the possibility of hybrid work (in the U.S.) and will be a W-2 hourly 8-10 week contract with possible extension.The hourly rate is
$75/hr. – $80/hr.
Candidates will be paid within this range based on their work experience and skills. Candidates are also eligible for limited benefits such as health insurance, professional development, trainings, our referral bonus program, and our wellness program.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of the activation journey for a streaming video product, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Review existing customer-journeys with focus on architectures and technical requirements to develop a deep understanding of the underlying software, APIs, and systems that drive user experience and journeys.
- Provide recommendations on gaps and technical requirements to deliver defined activation journey.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, engineering, and marketing to define requirements and align on architectural solutions.
- Develop architectural standards and best practices to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of activation systems.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement in digital architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in digital architecture, with a focus on designing and implementing activation journeys for consumer-facing digital products.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, including microservices, API design, and cloud-native architectures.
- Proficiency in architectural design tools and methodologies.
- Experience with streaming video products or similar digital entertainment platforms is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively. convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
