RDTS is seeking a cleared, mid-level SharePoint Content Administrator to support the U.S. Dept of Treasury in Washington, D.C. The SharePoint Administrator shall provide services to support and ensure full optimization of TFIN’s SharePoint system and fulfill all SharePoint requirements. May Include after-hours or weekend support for maintenance, outage resolution, or other service support requested by the Government. This position is full-time and fully onsite, and available upon a favorable federal background check. Tasks include:
- Assist in managing internal process workflows, optimization, managing collaboration spaces.
- Improve the technical governance and architecture of TFIN Enterprise SharePoint platforms; Installing, configuring and upgrading SharePoint systems, managing system operations and services, helping to train and support users on SharePoint usage.
- Collaborate with Treasury customers to gather user requirements to establish SharePoint applications needs and capabilities.
- Design, develop, and manage SharePoint sites to facilitate resource sharing.
- Assist in the administration of a variety of database systems, such as Microsoft SQL Server, and other Database Management Systems (DBMS).
- Identify and remediate security issues with TFIN information security team.
- Lead customer migration to future SharePoint platforms; Build and create delivery processes and culture.
- Manage site and site collection features and functionality; Manage user permissions.
- Support web content managers in the use of web part pages, web part configuration, built-in lists and document libraries, custom lists and libraries, InfoPath forms, workflows, etc.,
- Create/modify/update image files, icons, mockups as required.
- Utilize Central Admin, sysadmin and PowerShell to implement configuration changes and meet customer requirements; Utilize third-party applications for database management as well as native SQL Server management tools.
- Participate in Change Control Boards (CCBs) to approve new software capabilities; Participate in meetings with OIT PMO staff; Provide desk-side or classroom style training, user guides and cheat sheets.
Requirements
- Possess and maintain active Security Clearance.
- Degree in Information Technology, or related field, from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SharePoint platforms and third-party applications for database management.
- Experience working with information security teams.
- Experience supporting a federal agency is highly desired.
