The story of Image Engineering begins with the Suehle Brothers – John, Joe, and Andy. From a young age, they tinkered with audiovisual equipment, lasers, and pyrotechnics in their parents' basement and backyard. Over the course of nearly forty years, what started as a hobby has turned into a venture beyond their wildest dreams. Job Summary
Project Managers work on our fast-paced and detail-oriented team to deliver innovative designs and solutions for our clients. This person will be expected to work on projects that will range from major sporting events, concert tours, large one-off spectaculars, special effect entertainment integration, and permanent installation/ integration of audio-visual equipment. Creative problem-solving is a necessity drawing on experience, knowledge, and a desire to learn about emerging technologies.This team member will be expected to have experience in managing projects/ events from the initial client contact, to design and preproduction through final onsite execution/ delivery.
Experience in producing projects/ events with budgets ranging from $10,000 upwards of $100,000 is a must. Project Managers are the lead of every Image Engineering project so an outgoing personality, strong organizational skills, detail orientation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to strive in a fast-paced and high-stress environment are required.
Primary Responsibilities
Client Management
- Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables
- Translate client needs into project scope, design, and delivery needs
- Develop, present, and manage the overall project budget
- Maintain a clear line of communication with clients on project status, progression, changes, etc.
- Ensure all contract and billing processes occur in a timely fashion
Project Management
- Manage project from initial client contact through project execution
- This includes the client’s initial conception design/ rendering
- Project scope and budget creation
- Management of fabrication and technical teams in the pre-production phase
- All logistical pre-production coordination with internal and external teams
- Responsible for onsite execution as main client contact and team lead
- Post execution follow up including client debriefing, internal debriefing, documentation filing, final billing, and budget reconciliation
- Understand and manage the company’s risk on projects
- Build, develop, and grow new client relationships
- Build, develop, and grow business/ vendor relationships
- Responsible for requesting crew as necessary for projects
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to include contracts, invoices, budgets, production schedules, run of shows, purchase orders, site plans, production briefs, and other documents as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum Two (2) years experience in event project management or production as a lead project manager/ producer
- Proven background as an event project manager/ event producer
- Experience in leading projects with estimated values from $10,000 to $100,000
- High emotional intelligence quotient utilized to communicate differently and effectively with clients, internal team members, contract employees, and vendors
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to perform in high-stress and fast-paced environment
- Motivation as a self-starter to manage own workload, self-direction and problem-solve without constant managerial oversight

Salary Description$80,000 - $90,000/yr
