Product Operations Manager

Learn more about Cognosos's mission at www.cognosos.com.Cognosos is looking for a Product Operations Manager to be responsible for the entire product management process. This role focuses on the optimization and execution of the internal processes required to support the product managers executing their product vision. The Product Operations Manager oversees the tactical ushering of products and features from ideation to volume deployment. Please note: this is an in-office position–the Product Operations Manager will need to work from our Atlanta office at least three days a week.
Responsibilities
- Roadmap Project Management
- Project-manage the roadmap.
- Project-manage product releases.
- Coordinate with Engineering for status reporting.
- Report status, risk and pace to multiple constituents (team, Board etc.).
- Ideas Portal Owner
- Monitor, sort and categorize new feature requests.
- Seek clarification and understanding of requests.
- Recommend promotion candidates to Product Managers.
- Product Research
- Facilitate market research and support Product Managers with analytics.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to drive feature prioritization and own the prioritization process.
- Work with Engineering to understand and integrate Tech Debt into feature roadmap.
- Process Improvement
- Configure and maintain Aha! roadmap tool.
- Research, recommend and own new tools as required.
- Recommend and execute improvements in reporting, coordination and prioritization.
Qualifications
- Conducts business professionally with a full understanding of area(s) of specialization.
- Follows policies/procedures to resolve a wide range of issues.
- Solves diverse and complex problems from minimal instructions.
- Able to analyze data and identify factors to select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Required Skills and Experience
- Obsessed with detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- An analysis nerd motivated by curiosity.
- Clear communicator with internal peers.
- Previous experience with Aha! desired.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering preferred.
