We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager with extensive terminal experience to lead our EVP API platform, CloudOps team, Opsview & Analytics, and N4 Framework initiatives.
Position Overview:
As the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, development, and success of our EVP API platform and its satellite components along with cloud native solutions and N4 framework for our Terminal Operating System (TOS). You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive product vision and deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for the EVP API platform, cloudops, Opsview & analytics, and framework components of our TOS.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in the market.
- Develop a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with business goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to define product requirements and specifications using tools such as JIRA
- Oversee the development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and enhancements through scrum meetings
- Prioritize product backlog based on business value, customer impact, and strategic importance using JIRA
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product-related queries and updates.
- Gather and analyze feedback from customers, partners, and stakeholders to continuously improve the product.
- Conduct regular product demos and training sessions for internal teams and customers.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the product.
- Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive product improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior product managers and team members.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of technical experience in software development in the marine terminal space with a focus on API platforms, analytics, and frameworks.
- Proven experience in the terminal operating system industry is essential.
- Strong understanding of API design and development, data analytics, and software frameworks.
- Familiarity with terminal operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Proficient in using product management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
