Job Description
Enable the execution of lean-high-performing software implementation teams that deliver high quality business solutions in a timely manner.
Work closely with stakeholders, OCIO and other business application teams to design solutions that align with business needs and are consistent with the architectural vision.
Establish and implement overall technical best practices for projects, programs, and systems.
Support the COR to oversee technical deliverables for new software application, enhancement, and maintenance projects through software development life cycle, including validating completeness of estimates, quality, and accuracy of technical designs, build and implementation.
Proactively address technical issues and risks that could impact project schedule and/or budget.
Function as subject matter expert and advocate for software applications supported, requiring depth and breadth in knowledge of the business, technologies, applications, integration, and interfaces.
Provide business organizations with technical advice and support.
Meet with stakeholders to collect, analyze, and refine high- level business needs and requirements.
Identify opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership in operational application support areas.
Develop documentation (such as analysis and white papers) and presentations to all levels of management to support the activities above.
Research, evaluate, and document alternative architectures and technologies to recommend technology modernization based on industry leading practices, with the goal to develop, maintain and/or enhance a sustainable and progressive BI/DW environment.
Analyze current ETL process and identify alternative strategies to support real-time access to transaction-related information.
Review, evaluate and recommend an enhanced database design to provide greater accessibility to data and support an improved customer self-service solution.
Qualifications
Oracle Analytic Server (OAS) and Data Visualization
Oracle Analytics Publisher (aka BI Publisher)
Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
Oracle Database Engine
Microsoft Power BI
Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) process
nice to have: knowledge of Salesforce/Hubspot
Federal agency business intelligence background
Though leadership with BI in a federal environment
Knowledge of industry-leading practices
Understanding of Slowly Changing Dimensions, Type II (SCD II)
Bachelor’s degree
12 years of professional work experience
Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident (Green Card holder).
Work Hours: Monday-Friday
