You'll be instrumental in advancing our proprietary document extraction technology, taking full ownership of your work and contributing to its evolution.The role may be fully remote, but the candidates need to be based in Poland.
Responsibilities:
- Implement new features within an in-house document extraction solution, utilizing Optical Character Recognition and Generative AI
- Conduct data analysis and propose automation solutions leveraging Machine Learning techniques
- Collaborate effectively with team members, including product managers and engineers, to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, tooling enhancements, and team skill development
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks that could impact project delivery or product quality
- Execute the implementation of automated tests to ensure product reliability and quality assurance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, Scala, and/or Java. Having professional dev project experience in Python is highly desirable
- Advanced Math skills (graph theory, naive bayes, information theory, computer vision)
- Solid background in RESTful Web Services
- Strong grasp of data modeling using relational and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
- Proficiency in git
- Proficiency in Linux and Shell scripting is a plus
- Knowledge of ansible or similar provisioning tool is a plus
