SFI is responsible for providing full life cycle software development /DevOps for federal agencies. Spatial Front, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Application Developer to join our team based out of Washington, DC. As a key member of the team, the Developer will participate in the architecture and design of software applications and interface with the customers and developers supporting a range of software development activities including requirements analysis, technical architecture design, detailed software design, implementation, test and integration for new and existing systems.
Strong development experience using .Net and other Open-Source technologies, as well as experience with Esri GIS and Tableau, are critical qualifications for this position
Please note that this is a hybrid position requiring on-site work in the Washington DC area. You must live local to be considered for this position.
Requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Join team of developers to design and architecture software applications.
- Design, develop, test and integrate custom .Net applications, developing innovative scalable, secure enterprise custom applications.
- Interfaces with senior-level customer management and SMEs
- Designs and leads implementation of scalable, secure .Net applications.
- Resolve complex design, implementation and/or performance issues.
- Work with the Information Security Organization to ensure that developed solutions meet all security requirements.
- Support all development and delivery activities, from requirements definition and specification to deployment and delivery to production.
- Consult with project teams and end users to identify new requirements; identify areas for improvements.
- Assist in identification and evaluation of new/emerging technologies, COTS products, development and testing tools.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of software development.
- Self-motivated and creative.
- Experience with .Net, Esri GIS, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Experience with MS Azure DevOps Tool.
- Experience with SAFe/Agile/DevSecOps.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Developing/Implementing Managing Ci/CD Pipeline.
- Experience developing customer-facing applications.
- Release management.
- UI/UX.
- Test Driven Development.

- The salary for this position is $50,000 - $80,000 annually
