As a Product Marketing Intern, you will contribute to the success of the Education vertical’s day-to-day marketing activities that drive awareness and adoption of Vector’s K-12 and Higher Education products, solutions, and services among existing customers and prospects.The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and driven team player with a proven passion for learning about and contributing to go-to-market strategy, messaging/positioning, new product/feature launches, and marketing content to drive sales and support retention. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in product marketing within the fast-paced tech industry and to gain exposure to not only marketing, but also Sales, Product Management, and Customer Success.
What You'll Do:
- Support product marketing team in creating and executing go-to-market strategies for education SaaS products.
- Assist in developing product messaging, positioning, and sales enablement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Create content for marketing materials, including sales collateral, presentations, blog posts, and marketing communications.
- Support the development, organization and dissemination of internal and external sales collateral and resources.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the timely delivery of marketing materials and assets.
- Participate in market research to identify customer needs and trends in the education industry.
- Analyze marketing metrics and assist in optimizing marketing efforts to drive product adoption.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to contribute insights to the team.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to a dynamic team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with marketing concepts and a basic understanding of technology products.
- A solid understanding of creative problem solving and ideation.
- This is a hybrid role with an expectation of 1-2 days in-office.
