Security Supervisor
Capital City Club is an exclusive, private club with three locations in the Atlanta area. We currently have an opening at our country club located in Brookhaven for a Security Supervisor. BASIC FUNCTION
Lead the security team to maintain member, guest, and employee safety. Establish and implement emergency procedures where needed. Work with Engineering and IT departments to maintain the working order of the facility.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Establish and enforce security procedures for the protection of members, guests, and employees, and their property; recommends additional controls and/or procedural changes to other departments that will provide increased protection.
- Directly supervise security department, which includes hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching.
- Regularly attend BEO and Safety meetings.
- Coordinate with IT Manager to ensure the proper functioning of security monitoring systems both in the clubhouse and maintenance facility and conduct periodic tests to make sure it continues to operate correctly.
- Ensure that outside monitoring companies are performing to the standards set by the Club and according to existing contracts.
- Exercises general supervision over parking lot operations by providing systematic patrols to assure protection of vehicles and property, controlling access to parking lots, and by instituting traffic and parking procedures.
- Directs the training of all security personnel in first aid, fire protection, traffic control, emergency, and all other security procedures.
- Enforces employee rules, assists with the prevention of employee theft, and completes the investigation and documentation of all complaints and/or violations.
- Reports maintenance, lighting, plumbing, and electrical problems immediately to the Engineering Department.
- Develops procedures for assuring the security of all the club’s facilities, assets, and grounds including the golf course and lake; assures these procedures are consistently followed.
- Uses discretion and judgment at all times when interacting with members, their guest, and unauthorized visitors.
- Ensure that all members, guests, and vendors adhere to club rules.
- Performs random bag and locker searches.
- Additional duties as assigned by Club Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds and actively participate in patrols of the building and grounds.
- Have a minimum of 3 years previous Security experience.
- Must have a valid Georgia drivers license
