Healing Haven is hiring Behavior Technicians - Full Training Provided plus Bonus Pay
Job Summary:
Healing Haven provides behavioral services to families of children with autism between the ages of 2 and 16. We are seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to join our team to provide 1:1 therapy to increase communication, socialization and play skills. Training and certification provided.
Healing Haven offers a naturalistic, clinic based therapy on a unique campus setting that supports the client through all stages of development. Each clinic is tailored to meet the needs of the age group that it serves. Behavior Technicians are offered multi-level support, including on-site BCBA supervision. Behavior Technicians at Healing Haven enjoy a warm supportive environment that fosters passionate employees and emphasizes professional and ethical development. Hands on, didactic and online training provided to develop competency in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Training remains ongoing throughout employment with a focus on constantly improving independence and quality of life for the children we serve.

Summary of Essential Job Functions of the Behavior Technician:
- Working one-on-one with children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder;
- Teaching skills involving language and social skills, fine and gross motor, relaxation, play, and ADLs;
- Maintaining a fun and interactive environment that is clean and organized;
- Building strong, lasting relationships with clients and families;
- Documenting behaviors and collecting data;
- Fostering a warm, inclusive environment for staff and families;
- Working as a team with other departments including Speech and Occupational Therapy;
- Obtaining/Maintaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification and Quality Behavioral Solutions (QBS) Safety-Care Training.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements needed to apply for the Behavior Technician opening:
- Bachelor's Degree not required, but preferred
- Professional references
- Reliable means of transportation
- Clean criminal history
- Maintaining respect and confidentiality for all clients
- Ability to walk, run, lift, squat, bend, push/pull 30 pounds as needed for therapy services
- Ability to efficiently write and communicate verbally
- Ability to work supportively with other professionals and staff
Salary Description$17-$22 per hour
