Underground Printing (UGP’s) Mission Statement is to help bring customer communities to life through custom branded apparel & merchandise. Underground has experienced rapid growth, ranking in the Inc 5000 fastest growing companies 5 years in a row. We produce all of our printed apparel in our Main factory in Michigan & with 172,000 SF of screen printing and embroidery production and over 250+ employees. We consistently rank in the top 10 largest screen printers by volume in the U.S. and are one of the fastest growing online clothing retailers.
We serve both B2C and B2B customers such as non profits, retailers, and Universities through our store and office locations across the United States. Additionally we help brands and licensors sell online both through company branded and marketplace websites. The Chief of Staff/Executive Assistant will be a member of the Support Staff Team reporting to the
CEO.

fixed
work schedule, with typical business hours Monday through Friday from 8:30a-5:00p, with an expectation of additional flexible time for coverage, as schedules might demand. Reporting directly to this position are other assistants along with those departments and functions deemed relevant to the associated processes.

Specific responsibilities include:
Manage executive management calendars and meetings to CEOMaintain schedule, including day-to-day and long-term management of meetings, projects, and prioritiesCoordinate and manage special projects, including working collaboratively with staff to ensure projects meet deadlinesArrange domestic and international travel including air, hotel, and ground transportation Coordinate purchasing items on behalf of the CEOManage all aspects of Senior Management meetings and conferences including catering and meeting materials and keeping executives on time and preparedAssist with organization of CEO’s office (files, binders, receipts, etc.)Draft and edit correspondence, articles, reports, and presentations; transcribe meeting notesGenerate internal and external communications for the CEOServe as event planner and coordinator for corporate and vendor events specifically related to the Senior Management TeamMaintain event and travel budgets for CEOProactively manage and organize personal email categorizing for urgency and confidentiality when determined by the CEO. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience as a Chief of Staff, executive administrative assistant, senior executive assistant, or similar position
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills exhibiting discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to remain calm, gracious and handle situations under pressure
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
- Proven organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to follow multi-step instructions and take initiative
- Must be data driven, ability to organize and analyze data
Technical skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Strong knowledge of programs and apps such as (Doodle, G-suite and gmail, WhatsApp, etc..)
- Adobe Programs a plus
