Ecosystems Platform Lead, North America
The Ecosystems Platform Lead, North America is responsible for the engagement and continued growth of the Techstars ecosystem of alumni, mentors, investors and partners in strategic markets where we do not have an in-person Techstars Accelerator Program experience. These markets include cities where Techstars formerly ran Accelerator programs, are high-priority founder sourcing cities and/or have a high concentration of alumni, mentors, and investors. In this newly formed role, the Ecosystems Platform Lead will collaborate with accelerator investments and programming leadership to set the strategy as well as execute key activities to quickly realize meaningful outcomes.
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the AIT and Eco Dev leadership team to develop the ecosystem management strategy and execution required for success in this role.
- Collaborate with the Eco Dev team to curate Eco Dev products to leverage in these markets as a way to maintain strong market relationships.
- Plan and execute networking events to foster relationships amongst alumni, mentors, investors and partners that further business development, funding and growth opportunities for our founders.Curate Practice Area based and innovation roundtables amongst alumni to deepen support circles for founders.
- Work with Accelerator Program teams and the Revenue team to host events at large conferences such as, but not limited to SXSW, WebSummit, Venture Atlanta, that drive network engagement and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the Techstars Events team on Techstars annual Foundercon to align content and activities to alumni needs and help drive attendance.
- Design and execute scalable methods of engaging the network in mutually beneficial ways.
Required Experience:
- 8+ years experience working in the entrepreneurship/venture community with focus on event planning, community development, and project management.
- Experience with event planning and marketing and project management tools
- A demonstrated track record of managing cross-functional initiatives in a complex organization.
