Channel Director
REMOTE (Dallas, TX or Central U.S. candidates preferred)About the Role:Are you a skilled professional with a passion for developing and maintaining effective channels? We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Channel Director in the fast-paced and dynamic field of cybersecurity.As the Channel Director, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing channel strategies to maximize revenue growth and market share. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product development teams, to ensure the success of channel partner relationships.

You will have the opportunity to build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, drive sales through effective channel strategies, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our organization.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement channel strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our reach into Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage high-potential partners within assigned region or vertical
  • Clearly articulate and promote the company’s unique value proposition and offerings
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries, escalations, and strategic discussions, fostering strong relationships built on trust and collaboration
  • Generate joint pipeline through channel campaigns, promotions, and proactive account mapping activities
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for channel development and expansion
  • Prepare comprehensive channel plans and targets across your focus partner
  • Consistently apply channel best practices, including deal registration and discountin
  • Maintain accurate partner and opportunity records in Salesforce
  • Establish and report on progress toward key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Ability to travel to partner and customer locations up to 25%

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Significant experience in channel management within the information security industry
  • Proven experience in building a national channel program from scratch, including developing partner profiles, GTM programs, spiffs, partner enablement and deal registration process
  • Strong understanding of channel partner dynamics and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Understanding of existing relationships within the VAR community, specifically in cybersecurity-focused VARs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving revenue targets
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop innovative channel strategies
