JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Software Developer designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications and components supports and/or installs software applications and components. They’ll also utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions mainly using C#, ASP.NET, and Angular. Senior software developers are also expected to help consult with the business and other developers to design solutions
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications and components supports and/or installs software applications and components
- Works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow.
- Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, Web APIs, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and C#
- Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
- Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
- Perform code reviews
- Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
- Create technical specifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-6 years of experience in a development role with at least 3+ of those years of experience in the full .NET software development lifecycle especially in the areas of Visual Studio, frameworks like .NET, WCF, ASP.NET Web API, SOAP, RESTful Services, Angular, and JavaScript
- Experience with C#
- Ability to consult and communicate closely with management, supervisors, and potentially external teams.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks/projects concurrently.
- Ability to work and consult with colleagues as well as individually
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic team environment.
- Strong skills with debugging tools and techniques
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize/complete projects in a timely manner.
- Experience using Source Control
- Experience working in a ticketing system such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TFS

- Experience with JavaScript Frameworks Angular and/or AngularJS
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience in Agile Application Development & Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Experience using Git
- Experience with other JavaScript Frameworks
