Power BI Architect | About You
As a Power BI Architect, you are responsible for building, implementing, and supporting reporting solutions for our enterprise clients. You possess experience in all stages of BI project work, such as requirements and logical design, physical design, implementation, testing, and deployment. You consistently demonstrate a firm grasp of BI implementation and have in-depth experience with the Microsoft Power BI stack. Additionally, you can effectively demonstrate strong knowledge of database technical functionality such as performance, security, and reliability.
Power BI Architect | Day-to-Day
- Architect, design, and develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions based on the Microsoft Power BI platform.
- Define and establish BI framework models, semantic layers, and metadata repositories to facilitate efficient reporting and administration processes, fostering a cohesive data ecosystem.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and refine user requirements for web systems, dashboards, and reports, ensuring solutions are tailored to meet business needs.
- Analyze user requirements and design functional specifications for BI front-end applications based on findings.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL processes using tools like Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or Power Query, ensuring seamless data integration and transformation from diverse sources.
Power BI Architect | Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of proven experience in BI Architecture and Data Warehousing.
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Power BI platform, encompassing Power Query, Power View, Power Pivot, and Power BI Service.
- Expertise in data modeling for BI solutions, including relationship design, DAX measures, and performance optimization.
- Strong grasp of database fundamentals, SQL, RDBMS, and skills in performance tuning, security, and data integrity.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure, specifically Azure Data Warehouse and Synapse Analytics for scalable solutions.
- Ability to analyze user requirements and develop front-end BI applications tailored to specifications.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, along with effective interpersonal and communication skills.
