Our client, Human Services Inc, is seeking a Director of Fiscal Operations to join their dedicated team. This individual will be responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board and other regulatory and advisory organizations. The Director of Fiscal Operations will play a pivotal role in enhancing the financial processes and advising on strategic financial decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIRECTOR OF FISCAL OPERATIONS:
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.
- Participate in the development of the agency’s plans and programs as a strategic partner.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.
- Develop credibility for the fiscal department by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends.
- Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures that improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the agency.
- Establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board of Directors as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
- Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline.
- Continuously improve the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues.
- Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate strategies to enhance cash position.
- Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism to meet operating needs.
- Advise on financial aspects of contracts.
- Ensure equitable treatment of all participants regardless of race, gender, culture, primary language, or religious beliefs to provide high-quality services.
IDEAL CANDIDATES HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- 3-5 years of related experience and/or training.
