Sales Professional
Job Summary Responsible for developing new business as well as maintaining business with existing clientele. This position involves inside and outside sales functions. Services for open-hole, cased-hole logging, perforating, tubing conveyed perforating, and pipe recovery services, serving as the primary liaison between the client and Horizontal operations at all times, including pre-job planning, in progress assistance, and post-job follow up. This person must assess complex information and provide solutions that add value to Horizontal and the client for a wide range of problems in the wireline business.All jobs associated with the Company will be executed safely and per all regulatory and Horizontal specific Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.Essential Functions• Selling OH and CH services (based on services offered at assigned base)• Account management for assigned clients• Market share and competitor analysis• Bid preparation and submission for approvals• Job cost analysis• Forecasting and reporting• Developing sales plans• Problem job resolutionKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics• Must have a proven sales experience• Knowledge of wireline services offered• Bachelor's degree preferred• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal• Previous sales experience required• Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint• Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment• Thorough understanding of customer requirements and market conditions• Comprehensive knowledge of products/systems• Good business acumen• Negotiating skillsPhysical Work Activities and Exposure• Frequent sitting, talking or hearing• Use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls• Must be able to dispatch to a client's office or job-site on short notice• Able to work and drive in changing climate conditionsQualifications• High School/GED, Undergraduate degree in geology or engineering preferred.• Language Skills: Ability to write reports and effectively communicate with peers, subordinates, supervisors, and customers.• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Special RequirementsPossession of or ability to obtain a valid state driver's license required at HWSNecessary Physical Abilities to Perform Essential Job FunctionsSafety of our employees is a crucial priority of Horizontal; thus, the Company must ensure that applicants are physically able to perform certain essential functions of the Sales Professional position.
