Position Overview:
Are you an experienced Cabinet Maker, Exhibit Builder, Furniture Maker, or Finish Carpenter? Are you excited by the prospect of working with a skilled team of Designers and Fabricators to produce innovative, high-end brand experiences for some of today’s leading brands?Sparks is an industry leader in corporate experiential marketing and was voted one of the Best Places to Work in Events by Quantum Workplace. We are looking for qualified, creative, hard-working, and motivated carpenters to join our production team.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate large-scale exhibit environments, executive briefing centers, showrooms, corporate lobbies, and store fixtures
- Manage workload on multiple projects seamlessly.
- Utilize creative problem solving to find the best approach to the fabrication of each project.
- Maintain accountability for manufacturing the final exhibit outcome.
- Successfully complete projects within the allotted hours assigned to the job.
- Interact with the design-detailing department
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5+ years manufacturing experience in the woodworking or cabinet making industry
- Knowledge of high-end wood fabrications as related to furniture, cabinetry, and fixtures fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking materials
- Possess strong organizational and communication skills
- Consistent attention to detail, and a dedication to excellence
- Ability to work in a cold/warm warehouse environment around moving equipment
- Ability to stand on feet for 6-8 hours per day
- Ability to reach about and below shoulder, push and/or pull, kneel, squat, bend/twist, and climb ladders
Preferred Skills:
- Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player
- Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
