http://www.glenmede.com.This role’s primary focus will be in support of The Endowment and Foundation (E&F) Investment team which manages over $10 billion in assets inclusive of E&F OCIO relationships, private investment and hedge fund of funds and separately managed private investment and hedge fund accounts. There are plans to expand the fund of funds and separately managed accounts with other types of more specialized hedge fund and private investments.The position reports to the Endowment and Foundation CIO, with dotted line responsibility to the Director of Platform Solutions.
Platform Solutions is responsible for managing investment operations and technology across Glenmede. This position will operate in a hybrid work environment with 3 days per week in the office. This role will be based out of Glenmede’s headquarters in Philadelphia, with flexibility to work out of any of the regional offices.
OVERVIEW:
You will be responsible for leveraging Glenmede’s centralized operational resources and teams to build and lead the investment operations function for all investment portfolios managed by the E&F practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Investment Operations Management. Oversee the operational aspects of managing the E&F investment portfolios inclusive of:
- Monitoring and executing transaction related cash flows
- Maintaining and updating cash flow projections
- Providing liquidity analysis
- Coordinate with the performance measurement group and assist with performance reports and benchmarking.
- Coordinate and review all account information, cash flows, and valuations with the appropriate operational groups
- Support investment manager monitoring process including performance, exposure, and redemption terms.
- Work closely with external auditors and internal valuation groups on the annual audit and co-investment valuation process.
- Maintain a high level of oversight and interaction with numerous external investment managers. Oversee new investment set-up and investment redemption processes in coordinate with internal accounting and legal teams.
- Oversee SMA reporting and coordination of implementing new SMA investments
- Assist in the client annual audit process
Reporting, Data, and Software Management. Regularly coordinate and create management reports for distribution within the E&F investment team. Serve as the primary liaison to internal and external data and software providers. Assure data integrity and integration across databases and functional areas of Glenmede. Manage various compliance oversight and reporting related functions.
Manager Oversight and Operational Due Diligence.
Coordinate the flow of information from external investment managers to internal research and operational groups. Work closely with investment staff on assessing investment manager risk – coordinate with background check and operational due diligence providers. Coordinate annual questionnaires to collect operational; compliance; fund term; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI); and Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) information used to monitor ongoing managers. Assist investment team with reviews of audited financial statements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in education and experience; strong academic achievement in accounting, actuarial science, finance, computer science, or related discipline
- 8+ years of relevant experience in an endowment, foundation, pension, asset management firm, investment company, or bank

- CPA
- Strong knowledge of investment operations and functions
- Demonstrated experience with investment operations, accounting, valuation, and performance
