ABA, mental health or substance abuse knowledge is a plus, but our training and team mentality allows for those with experience to be considered. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for mentoring and helping others to succeed daily to attain individual, team and company goals.We understand the advantages to working from home, and we also believe in the power of people and connections, which is why we proudly offer a hybrid work culture. This position is hybrid with three days per week on-site at either our Fort Lauderdale, Florida or Holmdel, NJ office. 

Key Accountabilities


:


  • Maintain daily initial and secondary billing on all organizations.
  • Review daily billing checklist and audits.
  • Updating and maintaining billing guides.
  • Maintain team members' daily schedule.
  • Hiring, training, and maintaining the team. 
  • Maintain billing training materials and re-train team members as applicable. 
  • Knowledge of billing guidelines and regulations.
  • General knowledge of the entire revenue cycle.
  • Knowledge of insurance portal usage and set up. 
  • Implement and enforce current workflow. 
  • Assist with implementing new workflow.
  • Plan and implement quality assurance for billing processes.
  • Personal development of team members.
  • Staff meetings.
  • Work closely with the account manager to maintain a billing schedule that works with the organization.
  • Communicates with the account manager on going issues with clean claim submissions.

Desired skills and experience:


  • Minimum of 7 years medical billing or revenue cycle experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years leadership experience. 
  • Willing to roll up sleeves to get work done.
  • Well organized with multi-tasking skills.
  • Task and detail oriented.
  • Confident communicator.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and internal personal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate direct reports.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to keep up in a fast paced always changing field.
