Position Summary:
To provide the highest level of quality performance in all disassembly & inspections of equipment, through the usage of mechanical & Technical education and skills. To maintain the highest level of self-performance, in all safety requirements. Usage of individual skills in determining failure causes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Determine cause of failure.
- Pull and install pumps, motors, rail systems, discharge piping, etc.
- Perform preventive maintenance on Municipal, Sewage, and Water Equipment.
- Provide on-site customer service.
- Complete all work assignments and orders in a timely manner.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and legibly.
- Always maintain a professional attitude.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Maintains equipment by proper usage.
- Safety acknowledgement always, stop work authorization knowledge.
- JSA requirements.
- On Call Responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required / some college preferred.
- 3 years’ experience.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- Forklift operation skills and knowledge, able to be certified.
- High education and Knowledge of bearings, seals & packing, electrical wiring; For all pumps, motors, generators.
- Have own tools required and knowledge of their proper safe usage.
- Pump Curves & Impellers knowledge, Gearboxes, and Pump Operations & general principals’ education and knowledge.
- Experience with Sewage & or Water Pumps A+.
- Experience at laser alignment or vibration testing a plus.
