WEAVE, founded in 1978, is Sacramento’s primary provider of services supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. The Role:

Under the direct supervision of the Retail Operations Manager, the Retail Sales Associate assists the Manager with day-to-day retail operations. Strong public relations skills, effective communication with volunteers, and the ability to work a flexible schedule are critical to all job duties.  The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential. 

Qualifications:


  • High School degree or equivalent GED and 2 years related experience.
  • Ability to relate in a non-judgmental manner with clients and staff.
  • Strong public relations communication skills are preferred.
  • Must be able to work both independently and as a team. 
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. up to waist height. 
  • Requires standing for long periods of time and moving donated bags of clothing from vehicles to the store sorting area.
  • High level of accuracy, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to motivate and work well with others.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.

Compensation:


The wage range for this position starts at $16 per hour.
