You will play a key role in connecting Credit Unions with GreenPath Financial Wellness by developing relationships with key decision makers at the Credit Union. Day to day, you will conduct outreach to build a network of contacts and manage Credit Union relationships in the United States. Through emails, calls, meetings, and presentations, you’ll demonstrate the importance of GreenPath services for people.  Your impact will be to ensure GreenPath Services can be implemented as a benefit to Credit Union members and provide them with a path to becoming more financially secure.

Need to know:


  • Opportunity to be remote or hybrid based on your location to GreenPath in Farmington Hills, MI
  • Travel requirements are expected 20% - 40% of the time and require you to visit Credit Unions across the United States. 
  • This is a salaried, direct hire position. You can expect to work eastern time zone business hours.

You Have:


  • At least 3 years of demonstrated success in business-to-business sales
  • Demonstrated the ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred
  • Prior work experience in credit unions, banking, lending, or credit counseling (preferred) 
  • A strong commitment to inclusive, and diverse outreach to people and organizations ensuring GreenPath’s services are accessible to all. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. This includes the ability to adapt your communication to suit different audiences. The ability to facilitate group conversations and make formal presentations are critical skills as well.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite

The Day to Day:


Business Development:


  • Perform market research and analyze data to develop sales plans. 
  • Develop and update sales presentations. 
  • Implement and execute the sales plan (identify contacts, generate leads, make cold-calls, implement email campaigns, mail letters and brochures, attend conferences, schedule webinars and in-person meetings and presentations etc.).  Follow up with all prospects on a regular basis and negotiate as necessary to close sales. 
  • Achieve sales activity quarterly goals, including unique meaningful conversation and presentation goals. 
  • Achieve annual revenue targets and other set goals, by generating leads, building relationships, effectively selling GreenPath programs, products and services, negotiating and closing new partner agreements, and setting appropriate expectations for successful long-term partnerships that bring long-term revenue. 
  • Work with Manager and Legal/Compliance when prospects request to negotiate standard contracts, to ensure acceptable agreements are put in place.  
  • Stay informed on new products and services to effectively sell all that GreenPath has to offer. 
  • Utilize SalesForce and HubSpot to plan and track activities with prospects, track sales pipeline, forecast, and provide visibility to the sales team and management.  Meet sales plan requirements, and provide reports as needed for the manager covering contacts, presentations made, site visits, sales pipeline, and completed sales. 
  • Represent GreenPath at state and national trade association meetings and conferences (Credit Union Leagues, Bankers’ Associations, etc.) to promote products and services, grow a network of contacts, and to remain knowledgeable on issues of significant interest to potential partners. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with the staff of state and national trade associations in order to maximize outreach and marketing efforts to member institutions. 
  • Identify and lift up to manager other industries and/or products with potential for penetration.  
  • Support other team members and territories as needed. 

Collaboration with Partner Experience Team: 


  • Work closely with and maintain excellent communication with Partner Experience team to ensure smooth transitions for new partners that sign on with GreenPath, and to ensure successful long-term partnerships.  Share learnings about prospect needs and competitive information with Partner Relations team. 
  • Collaborate with Partner Experience Team to sell new products, such as the Virtual Financial Coach, and others where appropriate, into our partner relationships. 
  • Assist Partner Experience team with solidifying partnerships, especially in cases of potential cancellations.
