We are currently seeking a skilled Millwright Foreman with pump experience to join our dynamic team.
AWC is a Subsidiary of FloWorks USA LP, which is a privately held company located in Pasadena, TX.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Millwright Foreman who can lead a team of skilled technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, with a particular emphasis on pumps, motors and valves. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in millwright work, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of pump systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of millwright technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery, focusing on pumps, motors and valves.
- Plan and coordinate project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed efficiently.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Establish and maintain QC standards and testing requirements of repaired equipment.
- Evaluate and report on customer owned equipment, and as required performing failure analysis and system diagnostics support.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-years of experience working as a millwright, with a focus on pump systems.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, bearings, and gearboxes.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
