Position: Service Technician for The Bluestone – Bluffton, SC
Role Overview
As a Service Technician for The Bluestone, you will help maintain the physical integrity of this beautiful community with 360 apartment-homes.
Most Important Responsibilities
- Work closely with your team members to complete service requests and make-readies in a timely fashion with high quality craftsmanship.
- Share your knowledge with coworkers and assist each other when challenges arise.
- Go above and beyond the call of duty for residents to provide excellent customer service.
- Manage your time wisely and communicate throughout the day.
- Anticipate problems that residents might have before they even occur.
Most Important Qualifications
- MUST BE A GO-GETTER with a proven track record of stepping up to the plate and taking initiative.
- 2+ years of recent hands-on experience in apartment maintenance on a fast-paced community with high standards for customer service, or transferrable skills from a related industry.
- EPA/CFC and CPO preferred.
- Technical skills should include the ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC components (heat pumps), basic electrical, carpentry, drywall, appliance repair and other CRC requirements.
- Must be willing to participate in the emergency call rotation every three weeks.
- Ability to assess and address problems quickly, good organization skills and strong follow up.
