What is the role?
As an Integration Support Engineer, you will own the implementation and ongoing support of IntraFi’s technical integrations, which requires technical expertise in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) concepts, B2B communications standards and protocols, such as SFTP and HTTPS, Single Sign-On systems, and REST API-based integrations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Using a working knowledge of IntraFi’s systems, industry best practices and customer requirements to design and build IntraFi’s B2B integrations.
- Proactively and independently working with IntraFi’s partners to incorporate their feedback into IntraFi’s architectural roadmap.
- Working with external IT departments to troubleshoot, configure systems and establish system connectivity.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with teams to evaluate, refine and improve IntraFi’s suite of client and internal integration tools, documents, processes, and services.
- Liaising with providers to design complex solutions to establish connectivity with customers, with minimal guidance or input from manager.
- Influencing and advocating for our business partners on how best to use IntraFi’s integrations.
- Proposing new ideas based on thoughtful understanding of Intrafi’s business and partner’s needs.
- Participating in On-Call rotation to manage high severity incidents independently through resolution.
- Performing advanced troubleshooting and log-tracing across multiple connected platforms.
- Completing several concurrent complex activities and executing projects with minimal direction.
- Making decisions while understanding the trade-off between risk and speed/impact.
- Communicating both technical and non-technical information, orally and in writing, including collaborating with customer IT teams and internal stakeholders to provide explanations and maintain effective and open communication.
- Contributing to and personally maintaining a culture always focused on customer service and security.
You should possess the following experience, skills, and qualifications:
- Intermediate knowledge of platform architecture, API documentation, and troubleshooting techniques
- Intermediate ability to multi-task
- Intermediate knowledge of encryption and key management
- Intermediate ability to communicate both orally and in writing
- Intermediate ability to analyze and synthesize complex and disparate data
- Intermediate ability to document and cross-train as needed
- Basic knowledge of networking protocols and security
- Basic knowledge of IAM, specifically as it relates to role-based and claims-based Authorization
- Basic knowledge of common single-sign-on solutions
- Basic knowledge of common FTP solutions
- Bachelor's degree (in computer science or related field preferred)
- 2-5 years of experience
