Chemical Plant LoaderLocation: SkyMine Plant - 11503 Bulverde Rd. San Antonio, TX 78217
CarbonFree is looking for a Chemical Plant Loader to support our company as it grows. This role will report directly to one of our Shift Supervisors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
● Work in a SAFE and efficient manner in all tasks● Primary functions of the loader position are trans-loading of bi-carb railcars, railyard railcar movements, truck tanker and railcar loading● Monitor, operate and control equipment and systems to ensure that all are functioning and to maintain maximum efficiency● Perform basic maintenance related tasks● Initiate work request for required maintenance of equipment and processes● Prepare equipment for maintenance● Notify Supervisor of equipment malfunctions● Record test results and other data pertaining to the plant’s operation● Other duties assigned
Education and Experience:
● High School diploma or completed GED● Previous industrial manufacturing experience is a plus● Proficiency in math, reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills● Basic PC skills required and experience with a distributed control system (DCS) is a plus● Ability to work a compressed shift● Ability to read, write and speak English● Excellent interpersonal skills● Physical requirements: Must be able to climb stairs, lift 40 pounds.
Bending, stooping and walking is required● Ability to work a 12-hr rotating shift and work overtime
