BASIC FUNCTION:
Maintains and improves Pii equipment and support systems, with the primary focus being on safety and equipment reliability.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safely and effectively maintains all Pii equipment and support systems based on a thorough understanding of the manuals, drawings and operating procedures; collaborates and takes into account input from other associates as needed.

Maintains PLC’s and HMI’s programs. Building a library of programs.

Trouble shoots equipment problems as they arise; schedules, plans and performs corrective maintenance duties; responds to immediate needs as required maintaining safety, quality and throughput of equipment.

Trouble shooting PLC and HMI programs.

Coordinates work with outside service providers.

Adheres to Pii policies and procedures in carrying out maintenance assignments achieving excellence in timeliness, quality of work, documentation, inspection and communicating skills.

Responsible for following all relevant regulations (e.g. FDA, OSHA, EPA, etc.)Responsible for Programming of PLC’s and HMI’s using existing programs.            Responsible for identifying and purchasing of PLC’s and HMI’s for spare parts inventory.REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge and experience in trouble shooting logic malfunctions

Knowledge and experience in programming, reading and writing logic

Knowledge and experience in testing the efficacy of installed programs

Experience with RS logic

Knowledge and experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley processors

Experience in reading wire diagrams

Knowledge and experience with controls and instrumentation function

Self-motivated and team- oriented with the ability to work with minimal supervision and limited direction.Can accommodate non –routine work schedules, and be able to respond to call-ins.Demonstrates excellent personal organizational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Three years of experience in trouble shooting, programming, and maintaining PLC’s and HMI’s.

Mechanical aptitude, math and computer skills.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in trouble shooting PLC and HMI programs

Experience in completing GMP documentation.

Must communicate fluently in English and have legible handwriting. 38.00 To 45.00 (USD) Annually
