- Work closely with BreakForth Solutions Executive staff to identify opportunities, influence and shape corporate pipeline, and map technical solutions for intelligence, DoD, and federal civilian Customers.
- Function as business manager lead in evaluating business opportunities, sources sought, task orders, and RFPs from business development perspectives to determine appropriate strategy, execution requirements, and teaming recommendations.
- Adhere to the corporate growth lifecycle process (Opportunity Identification, Qualification, Proposal Development, Presentation and Negotiation and Closing) by prosecuting/dispositioning opportunities within 30 days in each phase (with exception of proposal development and negotiation)
- Effectively provide the coordination, identification, and prioritization of a suspect, prospect, lead, opportunity, and bid analysis, including updating pipeline tracking as a result of performing research, highlighting risks and opportunities, suggesting solutions, and effectively presenting complex analysis, advice, and guidance to executive-level and front-line staff.
- Support ongoing capture activities and provide actionable feedback for all color team reviews to ensure our proposals are concise and compliant with all proposal instructions and evaluation factors.
- Identify and develop strategic partner relationships and work with them to understand their capabilities and or technologies and how they may benefit BreakForth.
Be able to coordinate and provide technical writing for corporate content and complex business and government materials to include RFPs, RFI’s, RFQs; capability statements; pitches; SOPs/ISO documents; reference guides; resumes; presentations; reports; process flows; screenshots; and related materials.
Support the posting of information to capture tracking systems, i.e., Capture2Proposal (C2P), GovWin, GovTribe, or related systems
Professionally represent BreakForth at events, briefings, etc. (virtual/in-person) and provide written reports/updates to CRM system. *Must be able to travel as required.
Serve as a proofreader of content and deliverables compliance prior to the release from BreakForth Solutions.
Readily offer support, ideas, and positive suggestions for other duties as assigned.
Education/Skills/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited College or University.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience proven track record in Business Development and or Capture and in meeting the above essential functional requirements.
- 2+ years experience capturing/focusing on business opportunities in the Federal/Civilian space.
- Able to effectively Track, categorize, score, and continuously monitor new business opportunities from a variety of sources
- Proven familiarity with FAR, CAS, pricing, procurement, and general compliance.
- Experienced at effectively using customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as GovWin, Gov Tribe, Capture2Proposal, or SalesForce.
- Possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365: Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Outlook; Teams; SharePoint; Planner; Adobe Acrobat Professional; OneDrive; Publisher; Visio, and other relative software.
- Have progressive experience as a self-directed/self-starter with the ability to effectively execute coordination activities, make independent and sound judgments and decisions, and identify gaps in existing documentation.
- Demonstrated excellent and professional oral and written communication skills.
- Possess the ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines by implementing analytical and problem-solving capabilities to maintain multiple project schedules, and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be able to collaborate and interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively and professionally; be a team player; be hands-on and take ownership of projects.
- Possess exceptional customer service skills; be able to share and alleviate concerns and conflicts in a proof positive manner and provide effective solutions resulting in positive outcomes.
- Have exceptional analytical and listening skills; demonstrate a willingness to learn new concepts.
- Must be persistent, detail-oriented, and possess critical thinking and focused leadership

Strongly Desired Knowledge/Skills
- Strong data analysis capability.
- Experience with extracting data from Deltek GovWin, GovTribe, SAM.gov, FPDS.gov, USASpending.gov.
- Experience working with CRM tools like Capture2Proposal (C2P).
